Abide With Me

Abide with me a series I got the idea for in January of this year (2024), when I thought about painting Christ with a mom and her children at church. To be honest, when they sat behind me and the kids started coughing, I got a little annoyed, but then I quickly wised up and prayed to Heavenly Father for patience to see them as He does. The image of Christ being them, giving support to the mother came to me and such a deep love and gratitude filled my heart that this wonderful mom was taking her two littles to church on her own. Setting an example for them. She graciously agreed to my request to take a picture of her, and the idea was born.

 

My goal with this series is to show others how much they are loved by Jesus Christ and how He is with them always. Not only is He with us in the hard times, lifting us up, He is there in the good times, cheering us on. It is a beautiful relationship we get to have with Christ as He walks beside us.
